Beanstack

GCS is using Beanstack to track student reading across the district. Students have access to the app on their school devices (through Clever) and the app can be downloaded for free on any device. To log in, download the app, search for Reedy Fork Elementary, and log in using your student ID# and birthdate.

What Reading Can I Log?

You can log any independent or self-selected reading, whether you do it at school or at home. Reading with a parent, sibling, or other family member can also be logged. Make sure to include the full title of the book! There is a barcode scanner including in the app that can be used to scan a barcode and add the book to your reading log.

Book Talks with Benny

When logging minutes, you may be asked some questions about the book by Benny, the Beanstack mascot. You can choose not to answer if you prefer.
